South Molton Town Hall is a Georgian Grade 1 Listed Building in the centre of the town. It is ideally situated for use by residents and visitors to South Molton and has a range of rooms suitable for a variety of events.
The New Assembly Rooms
The impressive New Assembly Room will hold up to 150 people for a seated event such as a formal dinner or up to 150 people for a theatre style event or a buffet and dance.
The Old Assembly Rooms
The Old Assembly Room, which is a very attractive venue will hold up to 50 people for various functions.
The Town Hall regularly hosts such events as Charity Coffee Mornings, Meetings, Formal evening functions and private parties and wedding receptions and we would be pleased to discuss your individual requirements with you.
The Pannier Market, which is directly beside the Town Hall, this maybe available by prior arrangement for use by hirers for car parking and a lift from this area is available for both public disabled use and for the transportation of goods for any event.

Please send your application form and room layout to: South Molton Town Council, 125 East Street, South Molton, EX36 3BU. Along with a non-refundable minimum £5 deposit.
If your booking includes a bar, you will need to contact our ‘Designated Premises Supervisor’ Derek Sheldon, his contact details can be found in the Conditions of Hire.
